Born in Venosa (PZ), Jacopo starts studying music in “G. da Venosa” conservatory (Potenza). He immediately becomes first flute in “del Vulture” philarmonic and works with the best philarmonics of Basilicata and Apulia.
In 2006 he moves to Florence and joins “L. Cherubini” conservatory, where he grants his diploma four years later. In 2013 he graduates in flute and starts his post-graduate studies in Scuola di Musica di Fiesole and in “Incontri col Maestro” International Academy (Imola). He still is first flute in many orchestras and philarmonics in Italy, and he also teaches flute in three musical schools of Florence.
Since 2008 he’s been playing with the duo “F&F”, with the accordionist Pietro Adragna. In 2012 and 2013 he works with Riccardo Cocciante, Giovanni Allevi and the Italian band Baustelle, playing live as first flute together with Ensemble Symphony Orchestra (ESO).
He joins Aurea Sectio rock opera in 2012, bringing along his musical ability and his mildly argumentative personality.
