He gets into guitar when he was a kid, after hearing a guitar solo by B.B. King. However, he decides to leave the instrument in his closet to pursuing an unlikely basketball career (and that's a big, big mistake). It’s only at the age of 20 that Giulio decides to start playing again, studying blues and fingerpicking style. He starts a short-lived project with some friends (a band called Wine Hot) and in 2009 he gets to know Marco Quaranta. Together, they join the heavy-power metal band Legio Fulminata, a project which ends after two years of intense metal gigs all around the region. Finally, Giulio joins Aurea Sectio, catching up with his life and stage companions Marco (Quaranta) and Leonardo (Taiuti).
