He starts playing guitar when he was 14, after a long period in which he enjoyed himself with mixers and disco music, playing as DJ.
After less than two years he starts playing bass and gets more and more curious about composition and arrangements. His first band is called Die Nadel (hard rock and metal covers).
Then he moves to Florence, in 2001, and he joins Pregnant Gods (where he meets Daniele Bandi) in 2003. Over the years, he joins many bands and projects, such as Cage of Candy-floss (indie rock), Kuva (gothic rock), Wasteland (heavy metal), Armantika (heavy/power metal), Ion of Chios (progressive metal).
Playing bass with Kuva, Marco decides to increase his knowledge of the instrument and he also starts studying drums by himself and taking piano lessons. Afterwards, when he joins Armantika, Marco meets Leonardo Taiuti, who will become his faithful singer in almost every future project.
His interest towards composition is still deep and in 2007 he decides to write a story which could be performed and sung by many singers: therefore, in only two years, Marco writes his first rock opera, "The Sword Of Ice And Fire”.
In 2009 he joins the heavy/power metal band of Legio Fulminata, performing all over the region and reaching the finals of (and often winning) prestigious contests like Keller Contest and Rock Live Party. During this period with Legio Fulminata, he starts looking for musicians and singers for his rock opera, Aurea Sectio.
Lately, Marco is learning and deepening his knowledge of orchestral and soundtrack compositions.
